Why Series connection is not used in house??

So we all are aware of series and parallel connections.

So have you ever thought of which connection from both of them are used in our houses and which are more suitable??

So here is the answer to your question..

So as we know in series connection if we connect two appliances together then two or more appliances are connected from head to tail with each other which result in same current in both the appliances.

But the drawback comes here that if any single appliances get failed then the current will not be able to move further which can result in no current forward.

For example: if we connect one fan and one bulb together in series and if we switch ON both of them and somehow Fan do not work then the power will not transferred further and bulb will also not glow.

But now in the case of parallel connection the appliances are joined parallely due to which the current are different in different branches according to the need of electrical appliances so if any appliances get failed then it will not affect any other appliances and other appliances can work easily.

So this is the reason behind the parallel connection in our houses.
